Want to know what it is like in Molokai? The fact that it doesn't have one single stoplight, shows you that life on Molokai moves at a decidedly different pace. Largely undeveloped, if you are looking for an off the beaten path experience, then Molokai will not dissapoint. Even more alluring than the pristine snorkeling, unpopulated white sand beaches, and mountain bike riding, is Molokai's rich history and a sense of Hawaii as it was decades ago.

To enjoy Kalaupapa you must be sponsored by someone on the island. Travelers will be shuttled from specified locations in Waikiki to the airport at Lagoon Drive.  They will then board a 8 seat P-31 Piper Chieftain and enjoy a scenic flight to the tour island where they will then join a tour of the location.   Once finished, travelers will be flown on a return flight to Oahu and then shuttled back to the specified Waikiki location.

Once in Mololokai, you will be met at the site of the former leper colony by a representative of Father Damien Tours who are staff residents of the tiny settlement. See the tour schedule on the left for details of the ground tour.

Children under age 16 are not able to attend tour. Must cancel within 48 hours before tour for a full refund. There is no refund for tours cancelled in less than 24 hours. Credit card is required at the time of reservation and will be charged the day.
